Bulk Bucket Flowers
We offer bulk buckets of our gorgeous local and organic flowers as add-ons for your A La Carte Florals during our peak growing season from July through September. Buckets added outside of this growing season will incur additional costs. These buckets are the perfect way to add more flowers to your event without breaking the bank and a wonderful opportunity to bond with your friends and family through flower arranging!
DIY BuCkets
Our DIY bulk buckets offer the best of our seasonal blooms. Our harvests each week determine the colors and varieties of flowers in our DIY buckets.
Color palette and flower varieties are grower’s choice, although we do allow you to indicate one color exclusion per order.
Each bucket is comprised of 70-80 stems in a mix of all the flowers and foliage you need to make beautiful arrangements. Typical orders include 9-12 flower and foliage varieties.
Please note, you must bring your own buckets to pick up your flowers. We aim to reduce plastic waste as much as possible on the farm so we ask that you use a bucket you already have vs take one of our buckets. Buckets must be clean and approximately 5 gallons in size. We will assess an additional $5/bucket fee if you take one of our buckets.
$170/bucket
DIY Bucket Considerations
How many DIY Buckets do I need?
One of our buckets makes about four larger centerpiece type arrangements about the size of a quart mason jar
Smaller cocktail arrangements, boutonnieres, and flower crowns will use fewer flowers.
It is always a good idea to order more than you think you will need just in case flowers get damaged in transport, or you make a mistake when arranging!
Think about the following before ordering DIY Buckets
Do you and your wedding party have the time to pick-up and arrange flowers leading up to your event? We recommend setting aside 3-4 hours to prep and arrange your flowers especially if you are new to flower arranging.
Do you have a vehicle that is large enough to transport flowers safely(SUV or mini van is ideal)?
Do you have a cool, dark spot, out of the wind and elements to store your flowers leading up to your event? We find an air conditioned room or basement is a great option!
Do you have the materials you need to successfully arrange your flowers? Depending on what sort of arrangements you will make, we recommend very clean vases that fit your aesthetic, sharp clippers for all who will arrange, floral tape, floral pins, chicken wire, floral frogs, ribbon, and a way to dispose of all flower clippings and leaves.
Most of all, are you or someone in your wedding party excited about arranging flowers? It is helpful to have one lead “designer” in your party to help guide your helpers for a cohesive look. We absolutely recommend watching tutorials online!
